In 2025, we expanded internationally with the opening of Maxime’s, alongside a new Birley Bakery in New York City. We now have an exciting opportunity for a talented Head Pastry Chef to join our team at Oswald’s Club in Mayfair, leading the pastry departments of our two renowned restaurants.

Working Hours

48 hours a week, 7 shifts per week. The club is closed on Sundays, Bank Holidays and throughout Christmas each year.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the pastry team during service, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and calm environment
  • Menu development, seasonal creations, and new pastry concepts
  • Maintain excellent organisation, stock rotation, and quality control
  • Train, mentor, and guide junior pastry chefs

What are we looking for?

  • Strong background in high‑end, luxury, or Michelin‑standard pastry kitchens, with proven experience in restaurant environments
  • Proven experience creating classic restaurant pastry desserts
  • Calm, organised, and proactive, with the ability to lead and inspire a small team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
