As we continue our expansion across Europe, we are seeking a commercially driven and strategic Sales Director – United Kingdom to lead our UK growth strategy, drive revenue performance, and establish OSW as a leading solar distribution partner in the market.

Your Role

As National Sales Manager – United Kingdom, you will be responsible for leading OSW's commercial growth strategy across the UK market. You will develop and execute ambitious sales plans, build strategic partnerships, lead a high-performing sales team, and drive sustainable revenue growth across our portfolio of solar modules, inverters, battery storage, EV charging solutions, and associated renewable energy products. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for sales performance, market expansion, key account development, and commercial execution within one of Europe's most dynamic renewable energy markets.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute OSW's UK sales strategy, identifying market opportunities, growth sectors, and routes to market.
  • Lead all commercial activities across the UK, delivering ambitious revenue, margin, and market share objectives.
  • Build, manage, and develop a high-performing sales organisation, creating a culture of accountability, performance, and customer focus.
  • Establish and strengthen strategic relationships with key installers, EPCs, wholesalers, developers, and commercial partners.
  • Own and manage the UK sales pipeline, ensuring robust forecasting, opportunity management, and sales execution.
  • Drive customer acquisition while expanding and developing existing strategic accounts.
  • Negotiate and secure high-value commercial agreements with key customers and partners.
  • Collaborate closely with global procurement, product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure market competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead contract negotiations, commercial frameworks, and pricing strategies to maximise profitability and long-term growth.
  • Represent OSW at industry events, conferences, and trade associations, strengthening brand awareness and market presence.
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on sales performance, market opportunities, risks, and growth initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in a senior commercial leadership role within solar distribution, renewable energy, electrical wholesale, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering substantial revenue growth and market expansion within the UK market.
  • Strong network of industry relationships across installers, EPCs, developers, wholesalers, and renewable energy stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success leading, developing, and scaling high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, sales strategy, and profitability targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of the UK solar and energy storage market, including market drivers, regulatory frameworks, and emerging opportunities.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Based in the UK with flexibility to travel nationally.
