Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Property Manager role based in London. The Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring they are well‑maintained, compliant with relevant regulations, and delivering a high standard of service to both landlords and residents. Daily responsibilities include coordinating repairs and maintenance, conducting property inspections, managing tenancy renewals and terminations, and handling queries from clients and residents. The role also involves liaising with contractors and suppliers, preparing and maintaining accurate property records and reports, and supporting the lettings and sales teams with property‑related information. The Property Manager will be expected to maintain clear communication, uphold company standards, and contribute to the positive reputation of the firm.
Qualifications
- Strong residential property management experience, including coordinating maintenance, conducting inspections, and managing tenancies.
- Knowledge of UK residential property law, health and safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with clients, residents, and contractors.
- Organizational and time‑management skills, including attention to detail, record‑keeping, and the ability to manage multiple properties and tasks.
- Proficiency with property management software and common office tools (email, spreadsheets, document management).
- Ability to work independently on‑site, exercise sound judgment, and resolve issues in a calm and pragmatic manner.
- Previous experience in a boutique or high‑service property environment and familiarity with central London residential markets is an advantage.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ARLA, RICS, or equivalent) and/or a degree in property, real estate, or a related field are beneficial.
