About the Role:

This role will support the development and execution of programming for our Partnership Retreats by researching industry trends, identifying timely and differentiated content themes, helping shape agendas, coordinating speakers, and ensuring programming is aligned with allocator and manager interests. This role will work cross-functionally with IR, Sales, and Insights to help create highly curated Retreat content that drives meaningful engagement, reflects current market conversations, and strengthens the overall value proposition of the Retreat membership.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly organized, commercially aware, and interested in the evolving private markets landscape and the conversations shaping institutional investing.

Program Development – Partnerships
  • Develop 2-day retreat agendas through in-depth research to identify potential topics, current trends, and possible speakers.
  • Keep a continual pulse on industry trends, fundraising themes, allocator interests, and market developments to support programming decisions.
  • Review and implement feedback from attendees to consistently exceed expectations and improve the quality of the retreats.
  • Contribute to special projects that align with your industry knowledge.
  • Travel to select events.
Speaker Research & Coordination
  • Cultivate strong long-term relationships with industry experts, thought leaders, speakers, and others to ensure that our programs feature high quality, innovative, influential, and relevant speakers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for speaker coordination, including scheduling Advisory Board and panel prep calls.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and our partners to integrate managers into the retreat agenda.
  • Maintain regular agenda updates and speaker tracking documents and timelines.
Content Creation
  • Work across the business – particularly data and editorial – to identify opportunities to differentiate our event content.
  • Help ensure consistency between event messaging, audience strategy, and content development.
  • Contribute to content calendars, planning meetings, and programming discussions.
  • Take ownership of briefing documents and debrief reports to summarise retreat and attendee content.
  • Liaise with portfolio head to draft regular LinkedIn posts to showcase retreat content.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in asset management, conference production and/or financial journalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent project management skills.
