The predicted salary is between 22000 - 28000 £ per year.
The main function of the warehouse operative is to be responsible for fulfilling orders, checking loan kits, and managing the goods inward and goods outbound processes. It will be the responsibility of the warehouse operative to ensure the tasks are completed with high quality and efficiency. The warehouse operative will also be responsible for performing audits and ensuring the warehouse is run in an orderly fashion.
- Picking items from the warehouse to fulfil orders
- Assembly, packing of and despatch of kits to appropriate hospitals with correct documentation
- Inspection of incoming kits
- Proper documentation handling – Scanning, Filing, Digital attachments
- Reduce waste in warehouse processes (physical and procedural)
- Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance
- Inspect incoming medical devices and components for compliance with specifications and regulatory standards (e.g., Maintain accurate QC records, batch documentation, and inspection logs)
- Perform routine audits on warehouse and production areas to ensure compliance with SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
- Ongoing training on product lines
- Cross functional training in other departments (Cust Svc, QARA, Sales, Finance…)
- Monitoring of personal inbox
- Any other relevant, reasonable ad hoc duties that may be requested
Problem solving skills and a great telephone manner are also vital to this role. Involvement in the continuous improvement of the departments processes, focusing on Quality, productivity and Customer Engagement.
Computer literacy – able to utilise a range of Microsoft Office applications and other appropriate company systems when required (including MS Word, Outlook, Excel).
Office Environment experience working in a professional office environment.
Medical Device Industry - Experience within the industry dealing with sterile and non-sterile implantable medical devices.
Equipment / software packages used: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint, Power BI.
