About You
The successful candidatewill be…
- A qualified teacher holding QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS), with a relevant degree in History or a related subject.
- Passionate about bringing history to lifeand inspiring a curiosity about the past, enabling pupils to develop a deeperunderstanding of historical events, themes, and their relevance to the modernworld.
- Experienced in delivering high-qualitylessons across a range of key stages, with the ability to engage, challenge,and motivate learners of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Knowledgeable about the History curriculumand assessment requirements, with the ability to plan and deliver stimulatinglessons.
- Committed to promoting high expectations,inclusion, and a love of learning, while supporting the wider life of theschool through enrichment activities, trips, and extracurricular opportunities.
