Ossett Academy and Accord Sixth Form are seeking to appoint a proactive, compassionate, and driven Attendance & Pupil Support Officer, to supportpups and families by promoting high levels of attendance and encouraging pupilsto achieve their full potential.

In this vitalrole, you will bridge the gap between home and education, building trustedrelationships with families and pupils to break down barriers to learning.

Witha strong focus on reducing persistent absences, particularly among our mostdisadvantaged and vulnerable pupils, you will collaborate closely with Pastoral Year Leaders, external agencies and our dedicated inclusion teams, to reviewindividual pupils’ attendance and deliver targeted, high-impact attendancestrategies and incentive schemes.

If you are anexceptional communicator who can have challenging conversations with empathyand diplomacy, we’d love to hear from you.

The position ison a full-time basis working Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm and Friday8.00am to 3.30pm, with a half an hour unpaid lunch break per day.
