This is an exciting opportunity for anoutstanding practitioner and leader who is passionate about raisingaspirations, driving student achievement, and securing outstanding progressionoutcomes for all learners.
The Assistant Director ofSixth Form will play a pivotal role in shaping and developing our Sixth Formprovision, fostering a culture of ambition, and ensuring students are fullyprepared for the opportunities and challenges of the future. Working closelywith senior leaders, they will provide leadership for the Post 16 provision,modelling the highest professional standards and contributing to the strategicdevelopment of the Sixth Form.
A key responsibility of therole will be to lead and enhance progression opportunities for all students.The postholder will be accountable for securing positive and sustainedprogression outcomes, ensuring every learner is supported to successfully transitioninto higher education, apprenticeships, employment, or further trainingpathways that align with their individual aspirations and ambitions.
The ideal candidate willalso oversee and further develop robust transition processes from Key Stage 4to Key Stage 5. This will involve ensuring that prospective students are guidedtowards the most appropriate courses and pathways, enabling them to make informeddecisions about their future.
