Our client, a leading company in the water treatment and hygiene industry with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a proactive and skilled Technical Engineer to join their dynamic team in a largely autonomous, field-based role.

About the Role

This is a varied technical position where you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Commissioning and servicing of water treatment equipment.
  • Carrying out specialist water hygiene/water treatment tasks.
  • Conducting technical site surveys.
  • Producing site-specific method statements, technical reports, and commissioning checklists.
  • Fault diagnosis and repairs.
  • Project management.
  • Delivering practical, technical training to engineers and customers.
  • Supporting various departments with technical queries and solutions.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a well-motivated, hard-working self-starter with a minimum of three years of practical and relevant site experience. You should possess:

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of a wide range of water treatment plants, including Water Softeners, UV Systems, Filtration Systems, and various chemical dosing systems.
  • In-depth understanding of critical documents such as HSG274 and ACoP L8.
  • An understanding of water treatment chemistry.
  • Good computing skills.
