The Company

Our client, a leading independent distributor of Chemicals is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their small but busy and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that sales orders are processed swiftly, efficiently and accurately
  • Handling sales enquiries as well as maximising further sales opportunities
  • Learning technical and sales information on key products
  • Making necessary calculations to ascertain exact order requirements
  • Checking available stock and ordering as necessary from suppliers
  • Booking/planning deliveries
  • Managing and using information held on CRM package

The Ideal Candidate will be a proactive and organised individual with the ability to multitask, excellent attention to detail and a passion for providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Educated to GCSE minimum including English and Maths
  • IT competent - including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Familiarity with computerised sales order and stock control software, such as QuickBooks or Sage
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • An understanding of the importance of delivering exceptional customer service
  • A helpful and friendly attitude and flexibility in your approach
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure

Additional skills: Experience in Sales Order Processing, Administrative tasks, or Customer Service. Own means of transport is essential.
