Overview
Our client, a thriving and well-respected company within the water treatment and hygiene industry, have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join their dynamic Operations team, providing vital support to sales and site teams and delivering the very best service at all times. Working in a supportive and engaging work environment with a \’family\’ feel, you will be welcomed to the team and provided excellent opportunities for training and development.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the company\’s operational requirements, ensuring targets are met and administration tasks are fulfilled, with particular emphasis on delivering exceptional service to all customers.
- Support a small team of engineers and account managers, being responsible for ensuring reports and sample results are issued within KPI timeframes.
- Process and coordinate Equipment projects from point of order through to invoice, organising manufacture of products and liaising with couriers to ensure efficient delivery of goods.
- Approve purchase invoices and support with stock take queries.
- Daily operational support to 1-2 account managers, raising tickets on the internal intranet, assisting with any queries they have, chasing up bookings etc.
- Providing daily dedicated support to a small team of engineers (2-3), ensuring their jobs are processed and booked, parts ordered and in stock and reports and sample results are processed efficiently and issued to customers within set KPI timeframes.
Requirements / Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above including Maths and English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good logical and analytical thinking abilities
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn other software
- Customer focused, with the highest levels of integrity, honesty, dignity, professionalism and respect
- Flexible and driven to succeed, and will enjoy the challenges of meeting deadlines and surpassing performance criteria with the willingness to go the extra mile when necessary
- Well-motivated and hardworking
- Able to work as an effective team member as well as independently with the ability to think logically and problem solve
- Able to work well under pressure whilst remaining calm, supportive and approachable to colleagues
