Role Description
This is a full-time, Security Installation Engineer role based around the North West from our base in Liverpool.
The Security Engineer will install, configure, and maintain security systems such as access control, monitored CCTV, intrusion detection, and related hardware and software.
Qualifications
- Experience with security system installation and maintenance, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection solutions.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP-based systems, and basic cybersecurity practices relevant to physical security devices.
- Proficiency in technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and use of relevant tools and software for configuration and monitoring.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation, and to produce clear service and installation reports.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in an accessible way.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple on-site tasks and priorities safely.
- Relevant certifications (e. g., in security systems, networking, or electrical installation) and prior experience in the security or systems engineering field are highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site at customer premises in and around the North West.
- Must have a valid UK driver’s license. Working away will also be required when needed.
