Are you a driven B2B sales professional with a passion for industrial equipment and a proven track record of growing territory revenue? We're recruiting an Area Sales Manager on behalf of one of the UK's most established and respected manufacturers of trade, professional and industrial equipment — a business with over 50 years of heritage across welding, air compressors, automotive, power tools, heating and pressure washing.

The Role

You'll be responsible for driving sales across the South and South East of England, managing and growing a network of distributors, launching new products and maximising market share. This is a field-based role where building strong, long-term customer relationships is at the heart of everything you do.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing existing distributor accounts and winning new business
  • Creating and executing a territory sales plan
  • Delivering proposals and managing the full sales cycle
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline and activity records via CRM
  • Reporting market, competitor and customer intelligence back to the business

What We're Looking For

  • Proven B2B field sales experience, ideally working with distribution partners
  • Strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in pricing negotiation and account development
  • Product knowledge in machinery, industrial equipment or a related sector
  • Full UK driving licence
