Do you design electrical control panels and enjoy solving practical engineering problems? I am looking for a full time permanent Electrical Systems Design Engineer for an established csystems integrator. The role involves electrical and control-panel design for projects across the Thames Water estate, including upgrades and modifications to existing installations. I’m looking for: • Hands-on electrical control-panel design experience. • Electrical CAD skills—EPLAN preferred, with relevant alternative CAD experience considered. • An understanding of PLCs, automation and associated control systems. • The ability to produce clear schematics and technical documentation. • A practical approach to site surveys, existing equipment and retrofit work. Water-industry experience is preferred, not essential. Relevant practical experience can substitute for a degree. Engineers who can take ownership of designs are particularly welcome, but developing engineers with genuine panel-design experience will also be considered. Interested?
