Were looking to speak with Senior Sales Managers about a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning innovator in SILO protections systems, as they continue to experience significant, rapid growth and look to add a Sales Manager to their growing team.
As our client continues to deliver on their well-defined, successful growth strategy, a restructure to their existing sales teams calls for a Sales Manager to step in and oversee both external and internal sales. Managing an external team of 4 and internal team of 2, youll ultimately be responsible for delivery of pipeline, production, processing of quotes and achieving order targets.
The newly appointed Sales Manager will receive an attractive salary and commission package, discretionary bonus and company car.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the UK external Sales Team to achieve sales targets
- Set goals for all sales staff to ensure the company achieves its sales and growth target
- Ensure all sales staff are competently trained to effectively undertake the roles they are assigned, both from a product, sales and safety perspective
- Ability to produce detailed quotes for orders up to £50k
- Manage the Internal Sales Team to ensure quotation and technical support documentation is effective for both the UK and Export sales
- Create a robust, proactive telephone contact process that generates visits for the External Sales Engineers to attend
- Provide reporting on pipeline, quotes and issues
- Manage expenses for Sales Team
- Work with Technical Support teams to ensure all quotes and orders are correct and accurate before theyre passed to Order Processing and Production
- Ensure quotes are processed and sent to the customer within ISO procedures and customer expectations
- 5+ years sales management experience with technical products
- Significant and demonstrable track record of winning new business, results-focused, meeting or exceeding quota
- Strong abilities in targeted prospecting, opportunistic networking, and consultative selling
- Supervisory Experience, Team Leadership, Experience Training Team Members
- Ability to adapt, create and customise sales materials and presentations for clients
- Comfort and familiarity with online presentations.
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Self-starter with a positive demeanour and a can-do attitude.
