Salary: Circa £70,000 + up to £15,000 commission

The Opportunity

We're hiring for a well-established industrial manufacturing business on an exciting growth trajectory — expanding solution-based and automation-led offers alongside a strong core product range. They need a hands-on Sales Manager to bring structure, focus and energy to the commercial team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a team of circa 5 Account Managers.
  • Running weekly pipeline reviews — making sure every opportunity has a real need, clear next steps and a realistic close date.
  • Forecasting.
  • Joining customer meetings where your presence adds value and helps move deals forward.
  • Personally leading strategic or high-value opportunities where appropriate.
  • Ensuring the team is engaging with the right stakeholders on the customer side.
  • Improving how the team engages with customers, uncovers needs and sells value — not just price.
  • Keeping CRM updated, the sales process clean, and good habits consistent across the team.
  • Working closely with technical specialists to ensure the right expertise lands at the right time.
  • Feeding back to marketing on lead quality.

Experience

  • Solid B2B capital equipment or solution-based sales experience within industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience leading a sales team, or clearly ready to make that step.
  • Strong on pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Organised and structured.
