As Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of accounts whilst actively prospecting for new business across the West Midlands territory.

  • Manage, retain, and grow a defined territory of accounts across the West Midlands.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities through proactive outreach and customer visits.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and applications teams to deliver bespoke solutions.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting using internal CRM systems.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and training to maintain product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable field sales experience within the hydraulics sector.
  • Alternatively, strong sales experience within a closely related fluid power discipline (pneumatics, process, industrial fluid handling).
  • Solid technical understanding of hydraulic components and systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, power units).
  • Proven ability to develop new business alongside managing existing accounts.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach to sales.
  • Full UK driving licence.
