Following high demand and growth a prestigious pumping company are looking for a Pump fitter to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified pump fitter or service engineer with pump fitting experience. This job requires the successful candidate to be proactive by problem solving and fault finding to the best of your ability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Attend client sites to repair and service industrial water pumps
  • Fit accessories as required
  • Maintain & exceed workshop targets
  • Work well under pressure
  • Complete administration tasks including service & repair records accurately
  • Present a professional and positive attitude when working on customer sites
  • Installing and Repairing Pumps
  • Decommission Pumps
  • Workshop and Onsite Installations
  • Ability to liaise with customers and their needs

Candidate Profile:

  • IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND, BTEC or similar)
  • Stable work history & experience working as a Mechanical Pump Engineer or Fitter in a service workshop/centre
