We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of our mounting and connection technology product range, including piping clamps, ball valves, and fittings. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in hydraulics, industrial components, or mechanical engineering, coupled with a commercial mindset to manage product positioning, pricing, and sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the product portfolio of mounting and connection technology.
  • Develop and execute product roadmaps, ensuring they align with market demands and technological advancements.
  • Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and engineering teams to drive innovation and improve product performance.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase product sales.
  • Provide technical sales support and contribute to go-to-market strategies.
  • Work closely with the sales team, distributors, and OEMs to drive product adoption.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to position products effectively.
  • Gather and interpret customer feedback to enhance product development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and certifications.
  • Work with production and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability and efficient distribution.
  • Develop training and support materials for internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage pricing strategies and profitability analysis to maintain competitiveness.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, sales, or business development within hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid control, or industrial components.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mounting technology, ball valves, fittings, and fluid system connections.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to develop pricing strategies and drive revenue growth.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and market research expertise.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams.
  • Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • Location & Travel: UK-based with the willingness to travel for customer visits, trade shows, and supplier meetings as required.
