Mobile Hose Technician – North London Role Overview * Operate a mobile workshop van as your base, making on-site visits to local clients and handling a diverse range of hose-related tasks. * Act as both technician and local business ambassador, solving technical issues while building customer relationships. Key Responsibilities * Fabricate, install, repair, and maintain hydraulic and industrial hoses, fittings, and assemblies on-site. * Conduct diagnostic assessments, troubleshooting and resolving hose-system issues efficiently. * Provide preventative maintenance services to reduce equipment downtime. * Independently develop a strong customer base in the local area; cultivate referrals through excellent service. * Serve the customer\’s needs with a professional attitude, ensuring service quality and satisfaction. * Keep your mobile van orderly, well-stocked with parts, and compliant with health and safety standards. Candidate Profile * Proven experience as a mobile hose technician, plant fitter, HGV fitter, or similar role. * Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose hydraulic system faults. * Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. * Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive commercial awareness. * Full, clean driving licence and ability to work independently under limited supervision. * Capable of working Monday to Friday core hours with on-call.
