Our Principal Consultant, Robin Thomas, is looking for a Junior Electrical Production Technician to join a growing team for a leading manufacturer of self-propelled crop sprayers. No experience is necessary as training will be provided, just a keen interest in electrics or automotive electronics and a willingness to learn.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Install cabling during the first stage of assembly
- Assemble electrical panels according to machine specification
- Create or modify simple cable assemblies
This role has significant scope for development. After training, you will also be able to design, modify, and fit complex cable assemblies between various control units, which control the functions of our crop sprayers, specifying the correct equipment if necessary.
Each crop sprayer is bespoke to the customer, meaning that the electrical system of each sprayer will be different.
Work Schedule & Benefits
- Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 16:00, with overtime possible until 18:00
- Friday, 07:30 – 15:00, with overtime possible until 17:30
- Overtime paid at time and a half; overtime is encouraged
- Factory shutdown at Christmas
- Pension contribution and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Starting hourly wage dependent on experience
