We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of engineering projects across their full lifecycle. This role involves managing programme timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring technical compliance and quality standards are met. You will work closely with engineering teams and clients, requiring strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are achieved
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Lead and motivate engineering teams
- Conduct project review meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Ensure project governance and lifecycle processes are followed
- Manage financial performance and reporting of projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience in engineering project management
- Background in control systems / automation (PLCs, SCADA, HMI, drives, instrumentation)
- Strong commercial awareness and project governance experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Project experience beneficial)
- Full UK driving licence (occasional travel required)
Desirable:
- APMP or PRINCE2 qualification
- NEC3 contract experience
- CDM knowledge
