Osprey Engineering Solutions is looking for driven, ambitious graduates to join our Birmingham team and train as Recruitment Consultants. You don’t need a recruitment background. What you do need is drive, personality, and a willingness to learn from some of the best consultants in the industry.
Recruitment is one of the few careers where your earning potential is genuinely in your hands — uncapped commission, real responsibility, and promotions based on what you deliver, not how long you’ve been around. Osprey is a specialist engineering recruitment consultancy. We place the people behind the UK’s manufacturing and industrial sectors — from hydraulics and pneumatics to robotics and automation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Learning the craft from consultants with 20+ years in the industry
- Speaking to engineers, hiring managers and industry leaders every single day
- Sourcing candidates, managing interviews and running your own roles
- Growing your own patch and your own client base as you progress
- Hitting targets, earning commission and having a laugh while you do it
Who we want to hear from:
- Recent graduates from any discipline — or anyone with the drive and confidence to match one
- Strong communicators who aren’t afraid to pick up the phone
- Competitive, resilient and hungry — you like to win
- Switched-on, personable and coachable
- Based in or able to Birmingham
What’s in it for you:
- Competitive starting salary with realistic first-year OTE well above the graduate average
- Uncapped commission from day one
- Structured training programme — we invest properly in our people
- Clear, fast promotion path: Consultant → Senior → Principal
- Incentives that are actually worth hitting — team lunches, trips abroad, early finishes
- City Centre office, proper team, zero stuffiness
