Were searching for an Experienced Finance Manager to join and support the growth journey of a leader in the industrial distribution business.

As a Finance Manager, youll be primarily responsible for helping to increase efficiency and performance.
This role will suit an inquisitive self-starter, who enjoys freedom and variety in their work, and is confident working with all areas of a company to help drive business performance.
We are looking for a confident, experienced, and inquisitive individual who can help develop solutions to the challenges that your analysis will identify.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Line management responsibility for 2 employees (Accounts Assistant and Credit Controller)
- Timely and accurate delivery of relevant company accounts, reports and dashboards, including analysis, and commentary
- Cash Management responsibility including delivering improvements, and cashflow forecasts
- Operational and Sales Reporting including margin, efficiency measures and customer analysis
- Deliver accounts reviews to management team and board
- Maintain and update the control accounts, including the calculation of accruals and prepayments
- Provide full Balance Sheet and Intercompany reconciliations
- Fixed asset management and depreciation
- Stock control, reconciliations and reviewing movements.
- Maximise operational efficiency in aim of making the financial and management accounting process more efficient
- General analysis to highlight areas for business improvement and work with relevant departments on resolutions.
- Producing Quarterly VAT returns
- Assisting with annual budgets and forecasts
- Working in partnership with external accountants on Year-end Accounts
- Development of Systems and Processes to improve business efficiency
- Maintain both supplier and customer rebates
- Maintain the vehicle registers and any associated costs
- Prepare and submit the annual P11D submissions
- Payroll management alongside external accountants
- Cost Reviews and management
Skills & Experience
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Part of Fully Qualified
- Excellent Excel and IT Skills
- 4 years experience in a similar role
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI desired but not essential
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (plus additional days reward on completed years of service)
