Finance Coordinator

Process and raise sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all billing is completed in line with project milestones, purchase orders, and contractual requirements.

• Carry out purchase ledger and sales ledger reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly and escalating where required.
• Allocate incoming payments accurately against the correct customer accounts and invoices, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records at all times.
• Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions, supplier invoices, expense claims, and other financial records into the accounting system.
• Assist with the preparation of month-end financial reports, reconciliation summaries, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and work with the operations and procurement teams to ensure invoices are matched and approved correctly.
• Chase outstanding debts and overdue invoices in a professional and timely manner, maintaining positive relationships with customers and clients.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and the accurate recording of receipts and payments.
• Support the wider finance function with ad-hoc financial administration tasks as required by the Finance Manager.
• Maintain organised and accurate financial filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, in line with company procedures and audit requirements.
• Liaise effectively with project managers, site staff, and external suppliers to resolve invoice queries and ensure smooth financial processes
