Area Sales Manager β Industrial Equipment
Location: North West England
Salary: Competitive + Commission + Company Vehicle + Benefits
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth across the North West , developing both existing distributor relationships and new business opportunities .
This role is ideal for a commercially driven sales professional with experience selling industrial or trade equipment through distribution channels , who enjoys building long-term partnerships and expanding market share.
You will play a key role in developing the territory, identifying opportunities, launching new products and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales across an established distributor network
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the territory
- Build strong relationships with local and national distribution partners
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to drive revenue growth
- Deliver proposals, quotations and follow-ups to secure new orders
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer service
Candidate Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience , ideally selling through distributors
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills
- Experience negotiating pricing and commercial agreements
- Knowledge of industrial, machinery, engineering or trade equipment markets (Not essential)
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory autonomously
