As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking a career-driven Area Sales Manager to take ownership of the Southern UK territory by planning own visits, driving business development, nurturing key accounts, and expanding market presence.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales across the region from Derby downwards, covering major industrial hubs across the Midlands, Home Counties, South, South West, and South East. This is a field-based, customer-facing role where you will use your technical and commercial expertise to:
- Proactively win new business with OEMs, end users, system integrators, and industrial customers.
- Develop strong relationships with existing standard and key accounts to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Promote a wide portfolio of pneumatic components, actuators, valves, fittings, automation products, and related engineered solutions.
- Conduct site visits, assess technical requirements, and provide solution-focused recommendations.
- Work closely with internal technical and customer service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Identify market opportunities, competitor activity, and emerging sectors to support strategic growth plans.
