We are a global leader in precision engineering solutions — the kind of company whose work quietly underpins almost every industry you can think of. From food production lines to cutting-edge electric vehicle manufacturing; from pharmaceutical laboratories to high-performance electronics — our products play a role behind the scenes in making it all possible.
The successful candidate should be based within the designated territory, with convenient access to the major road networks. Specific postcode requirements will be confirmed at interview stage.
We are looking for driven, commercially minded individuals to join our field sales team. This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of a territory, develop meaningful client relationships, and build a rewarding career with a market-leading business.
As a Regional Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for growing revenue across your territory within the machine and device manufacturing sector. You will manage the full sales cycle — from identifying new prospects through to closing deals and nurturing long-term accounts — and will work closely with both end customers and distribution partners.
You will engage at every level of a customer's business: from engineers and procurement teams through to senior management. Understanding their technical and commercial challenges, and positioning our solutions as the answer to them, is at the heart of this role.
Key Responsibilities- Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, deepening relationships and increasing spend
- Build strong working relationships with distribution partners
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans aligned to business objectives
- Engage with engineers, procurement leads and senior decision-makers to uncover needs and present tailored solutions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system
- Represent the company's values in all customer interactions
We recognise that the best salespeople don't always come in the same package. Here is what we value most:
- You have drive. You don't need to be chased to get things done — you chase the work.
- You are competitive. Losing isn't in your nature, whether that's in your personal life or your professional targets.
- You connect with people. You can walk into a room of strangers and leave with contacts.
- You want to grow. You are always looking for a smarter approach, a better outcome, a new skill.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Experience in technical or industrial sales, ideally within automation, fluid control, or a related engineering sector
- A technical or engineering qualification (desirable, not essential)
- A track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A current, clean driving licence
- A current passport
If you are newer to sales or to the technical side, we still want to hear from you. We offer thorough onboarding and training — what matters most is your attitude and your ambition.
What We Offer- A competitive base salary, reviewed regularly
- Performance-related bonus scheme
- Company car
- Comprehensive product and sales training
- A genuine path for career progression within a growing, global organisation
- A supportive team culture that rewards results
If this sounds like the role you have been looking for, we would love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and a brief note on why you feel this role is right for you.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
