I have been exclusively retained to appoint an experienced Technical Manager to lead technical operations within a well-established ESD semiconductor test house. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the engineering function, supporting production performance, and maintaining high standards within a controlled ESD test environment.
The Role:
- Lead, develop, and mentor the engineering team
- Oversee engineering activity across the full ESD test process
- Ensure ESD protocols and cleanroom standards are maintained
- Drive process improvements to improve efficiency, quality, and yield
- Support equipment performance, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting
- Work closely with Operations, Quality, and Senior Leadership
- Manage project timelines, resources, and technical priorities
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
What my client is looking for:
- Experience managing engineering teams within a semiconductor or high-tech test/manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of ESD-controlled or cleanroom environments
- Proven leadership and problem-solving capability
- Experience supporting production, manufacturing, or equipment engineering
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-standards environment
Desirable:
- Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
- Background in semiconductor fabrication, assembly, or testing
