Shape Asset Care across the UK’s biggest food manufacturers. Osprey Engineering Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a specialist support business trusted by more than half of the UK’s top 50 food groups. We’re looking for an experienced Reliability Engineer, based in the West Midlands, to lead Asset Care Excellence programmes across complex, high-output food manufacturing sites.

Part consultant, part change agent – you’ll assess each site, design the improvement roadmap and coach the team to deliver it. Real autonomy, real impact, real numbers on OEE, MTBF and MTTR.

The role:

  • Deploy Asset Care Excellence programmes across multiple food sites
  • Apply the full reliability toolkit – RCM, TPM, FMECA, RCA
  • Coach engineers and leaders from shop floor to boardroom
  • Drive adoption of CMMS and condition monitoring
  • Track KPIs and link every improvement to ROI
  • Partner with Group Engineering, CI, Production and OEMs

You:

  • Proven Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Lead or Asset Care professional in FMCG or Food Manufacturing
  • Strong grip on RCM, TPM, FMECA and structured reliability methodology
  • Credible coach and influencer – equally at home on the shop floor and in the boardroom
  • Analytical, hands-on, commercial – you link engineering to financial outcomes
  • Comfortable travelling 2-3 days on-site per week across the UK (and occasional Ireland)
  • Based in or around the West Midlands
