Osprey Court Care Home in Pitcrocknie Village offers luxurious accommodation for 60 residents. We provide personalised Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite Care in a peaceful, multigenerational setting, prioritising the complete wellbeing of each resident.
We are now looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our brand-new team. Whether you have previous catering experience or are looking to start a new career, this role offers the opportunity to make a real difference every day by supporting our chefs and ensuring residents enjoy nutritious, high-quality meals.
What We Offer
- £***** per hour
- Full-time role
- Paid PVG, pension scheme, free uniform, and onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
- Full training and ongoing support provided
What You Will Do
- Support the smooth running of the kitchen by assisting with food preparation, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and following food hygiene and safety standards.
- Help with deliveries and stock management, ensuring everything is stored correctly and safely.
- Work as part of a supportive team, contributing to a positive dining experience for our residents.
What We're Looking For
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe handling principles
- A positive, team-focused attitude with good communication skills
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be given
