We are looking for a Senior Data Center Civil Engineer to provide civil engineering direction for campus master planning and site development of hyperscale data centres. This role bridges the gap between client-side strategy and design-side technical rigor to ensure long-term site viability.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Development: Review and assist in the technical development of campus layout arrangements, earthworks/cut-and-fill optimization, and utility routing.
- Consultant Management: Provide technical direction to external A/E firms and conduct peer reviews on civil site plans, drainage specs, and geotechnical reports.
- Environmental Resiliency: Advise on sustainable site design, hydrology/stormwater management, and geo-environmental constraints.
- Issue Resolution: Collaborate with construction teams to resolve unforeseen ground conditions and utility conflicts on-site.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in detailed civil engineering design, with a proven track record on large-scale data centre projects.
- "Dual perspective" experience working both client-side and design-side.
- Comprehensive understanding of heavy infrastructure site grading, utilities, and logistics.
