Our client is a global technology leader that designs, develops, and manufactures IT hardware and software. This position is part of an EMEA Power and Cooling team, focusing on the fast-growing AI-ready datacentre business.
You will have an understanding of data centre and IT solution power delivery architectures, cooling architectures, and heat transfer. You can be based anywhere in the UK but must be open to a degree of international travel.
Main elements to get involved with:
- Decipher complex RFP requirements related to facility power and cooling infrastructure and help IT architects design an IT solution that fits within those limitations.
- Architect complex power and cooling solutions for air and water-cooled IT solutions.
- Be actively involved in the physical installation of complex IT systems that are air or water-cooled.
- Provide engineering guidance over a wide range of disciplines (power/electrical, mechanical, thermal, plumbing, controls).
