The Sales Strategy team crafts data-driven, strategic narratives for our advertising clients and the categories they operate in. We aim to support the Commercial teams in driving revenue and fostering high-impact conversations. We understand clients' media challenges and goals, and armed with world-class data and insights, we create stories that help to illustrate the impact our platform can have for Advertisers.
The team works cross-functionally with product, marketing, insights, business intelligence, training, and other teams to ensure alignment between sales collateral and our platform's capabilities, product features, roadmaps, advertising solutions, and positioning within the broader AdTech ecosystem.
What you’ll do:
- As a Sales Strategist, you will be focused on supporting a team of sellers to provide partnership for the company's highest-profile, high-growth accounts across a variety of categories.
- From a client-driven storytelling perspective, you will be deftly creating custom client-specific narratives and beginning to develop scaled narratives by coordinating a consultative and collaborative approach across stakeholders.
- You will synthesize complex solutions into simplified sales narratives that clearly communicate our platform's value to advertisers.
- You will become a subject matter expert on our platform to ensure consistency in advertiser communications.
- You will be responsible for owning the creation of sales collateral that explains technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, pulling in relevant data and insights from both internal and external sources.
- You are a strategic thinker, proactive, and data-driven with an eye for detail and a passion for crafting customer-facing materials.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in sales development, media planning, digital strategy, sales/corporate strategy, or consulting; ideally within AdTech, the broader digital media industry, the television or streaming industry, at a SaaS company, or media consulting firm.
- Strong relationship management skills; previous experience in a role where you’ve successfully built consensus cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of the AdTech ecosystem and/or programmatic industry preferred; comfortable with online advertising metrics and KPIs required.
- Multi-dimensional, creative thinker: excellence at thinking analytically, strategically, and tactically; ability to formulate a cohesive, data-based narrative while telling the story in a compelling and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, ambitious and scrappy; deal well with ambiguity and take initiative and ownership to get the job done.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
- Team player; organically shares best practices and knowledge with others.
- Quick learner able to grasp new technology and product changes.
- Meticulous attention to detail and able to produce deliverables on time at a very high bar.
