OSL Consulting Engineers are the consulting team of nexos, the only fully integrated and most digitally advanced Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) provider in the UK. We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager / specialist to join our team for an EPCM project on a contract basis.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all procurement activities for a major chemical-project delivery within a contractor environment. This includes:
- Managing strategic sourcing
- Negotiating supply agreements
- Ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards
- Coordinating with engineering, construction, and project control teams to support successful project delivery on time and within budget
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 7 years’ procurement experience within chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects
- A strong understanding of technical procurement for engineered equipment and packages
- A proven track record negotiating complex supply and service contracts
- Experience within an EPC/EPCM or contractor project environment
- Familiarity with international codes and standards applicable to chemical facilities
- Proficiency with procurement/ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
