OSL Consulting Engineers are the consulting team of nexos, the only fully integrated and most digitally advanced Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) provider in the UK. A new breed of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) provider that is turning next-gen energy into operational reality, through innovative solutions, partnerships and problem solving.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support one of our clients based out on their end site in East Yorkshire on a contract basis. Services will support site with Electrical Asset Engineering services, you will conduct business as usual Asset Engineering activities, including supporting a DSEAR project on our end client’s site.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Incorporated / Chartered membership of relevant institute.
  • Good working knowledge of EC&I industry related legislation and Standards i.e. EAWR1989, DSEAR2002, BS7671, BSEN 60079, BSEN 60947, BSEN 62271, ETC.
  • Compex Ex12 &14 or Equivalent.
  • Experience in a 24/7 industrial environment including:
    • Positive SHE commitment & contributions
    • Maintenance contract management.
    • Operations interface & procedure.
    • Legislative, best practice standards & insurance compliance.
