Interim Management Accountant- 12 months fixed term

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Salary: £35k-£40k depending on level of qualification

Hours of work: 37.5 hour per week, hybrid with minimum 2 days per week at Head Office location

About the role:

This role is responsible for assisting in the preparation of the Subsidiary and Joint Venture management and financial accounts, reporting on results and managing the balance sheets for all Subsidiary entities. The post holder is responsible for preparing the budgets and budget reporting for the Subsidiary and Joint Ventures. In addition, this role will be responsible for implementing intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes for all intercompany transactions. This role will assist in the external audit process of the Subsidiary and Joint Venture accounts, anticipating the external auditors’ requirements and demonstrating a proactive approach to preparing for the audit to ensure the accounts are signed off promptly.

About you:

  • Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
  • Proven experience in management accounting, balance sheet maintenance and budget preparation.
  • Experience working in a large accounting function.
  • Technically strong, with a an excellent knowledge of UK GAAP including FRS102.
  • Experience of producing Management Accounts and budgets.
  • Ability to fulfil Trust Hybrid Working Policy and willing to attend meetings in other Trust locations during office hours. Occasional overnight stays where needed.
