The Railway Track Works Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of railway track construction and maintenance projects. This role involves managing resources, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Hybrid - Must be willing to travel internationally, including flights, hotel and expenses paid. Contract - 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time and within-budget completion. Ensure that all project activities adhere to established timelines and meet quality standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks to personnel and the public. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Resource Allocation: Manage labor, equipment, and materials effectively to optimize project efficiency. Procure and coordinate the delivery of construction materials and equipment.
- Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets industry standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and quality audits of construction sites.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate project progress. Address and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during construction projects.
- Environmental Considerations: Incorporate sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices into construction and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and mitigate any potential environmental impacts.
- Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest railway track construction technologies, materials, and best practices. Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve construction-related challenges.

Qualifications
