Role Overview
We are hiring a BD Director with elite military networks to sell Sovereign Bundles to EU operations (e.g., armies, navies under NATO/EU Battlegroups, etc.). You will open doors at MODs/establishments (e.g., French MoD, German Bundeswehr, Polish MON, etc.) focusing on rapid capability builds for border defense/swarm tactics.
Key Responsibilities
- Elite Networking: Use ties to generals/directors at EU militaries (e.g., SHAPE, EUFOR) for 15+ high-level intros quarterly; Navigate procurement (e.g., EDA tenders).
- Bundle Pitching: Demo bundles—drones + OS + training—highlighting Ukraine-proven tactics (e.g., FPV intercepts); Emphasise sovereignty (no data export) and ROI (e.g. >50% faster readiness).
- Deal Structuring: Negotiate multimillion packages (hardware/training/software); Align with EU PESCO/EDP frameworks for joint procurement.
- Pipeline Leadership: Manage a material funnel in CRM.
- Intel & Compliance: Track trends; Ensure ITAR/EDA compliance.
- Events/Travel: Lead at various events (e.g., Eurosatory, DSEI).
Qualifications & Experience
- Essential: 12+ years in defense sales/BD; Deep ties to EU militaries (e.g., direct access to 5+ MODs like UK MoD, French DGA); Track record of €5M+ deals in unmanned systems.
