Our client, a leading and rapidly expanding UK Based MEP contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Primavera P6 Planner to support the delivery of a major hyperscale data centre project in Northern Europe. You can be UK or Europe based and paid in your currency and be prepared to work a 10 day on and 4 day off rota. This is an excellent opportunity for a Primavera P6 Planner looking to join a business with a strong project pipeline, long-term career prospects and exposure to some of Europe's most complex mission-critical construction projects.
The successful Primavera P6 Planner will play a key role in developing, managing and controlling detailed project programmes whilst working closely with project leadership, delivery teams and end clients.
The RoleThe Senior Primavera P6 Planner will be responsible for creating, maintaining and managing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 across a large-scale data centre construction programme. The Primavera P6 Planner will support project delivery through programme development, progress reporting, forecasting and stakeholder engagement whilst ensuring accurate programme controls are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The Primavera P6 Planner will also work closely with construction, engineering and commercial teams to identify programme risks, opportunities and recovery strategies.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 programmes
- Create project schedules from early-stage information and evolving design packages
- Monitor critical path activities and project milestones
- Produce weekly and monthly programme reports
- Support earned value management and project controls activities
- Develop mitigation and recovery programmes where required
- Coordinate planning activities across CSA, MEP and commissioning teams
- Support project teams with programme analysis and reporting
- Attend planning and progress meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Proven experience as a Primavera P6 Planner or Senior Primavera P6 Planner
- Advanced Primavera P6 skills
- Experience developing construction programmes from first principles
- Strong understanding of project controls and programme management
- Experience producing client-facing reports and presentations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
