As a Senior Electronics Technician, you will play a key role in bringing electronic designs to life across our scanning systems. Working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams, you will support the full product lifecycle—from concept and prototyping through to production and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Design & Prototyping
- Build and validate electronic prototypes
- Create PCB layouts from schematics
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers
- Develop 3D-printed components where required
- Testing & Validation
- Develop and execute test plans
- Use equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Documentation & Support
- Produce CAD drawings and BOMs
- Support production, commissioning, and field service
- Contribute to product improvements
- Lab & Infrastructure
- Maintain the electronics lab and test equipment
- Manage component libraries and PCB data
- Essential
- BTEC Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
- Strong soldering and cable assembly experience
- Experience with test equipment
- Experience with PCB software (e.g. Altium)
- Desirable
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Experience in manufacturing or PCB environments
- Knowledge of embedded systems, microprocessors, FPGAs
- 5+ years’ relevant experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Flexible and proactive approach
- Strong organisation and time management
