As a Senior Electronics Technician, you will play a key role in bringing electronic designs to life across our scanning systems. Working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams, you will support the full product lifecycle—from concept and prototyping through to production and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Design & Prototyping
    • Build and validate electronic prototypes
    • Create PCB layouts from schematics
    • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers
    • Develop 3D-printed components where required
  • Testing & Validation
    • Develop and execute test plans
    • Use equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
  • Documentation & Support
    • Produce CAD drawings and BOMs
    • Support production, commissioning, and field service
    • Contribute to product improvements
  • Lab & Infrastructure
    • Maintain the electronics lab and test equipment
    • Manage component libraries and PCB data
Qualifications
  • Essential
    • BTEC Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
    • Strong soldering and cable assembly experience
    • Experience with test equipment
    • Experience with PCB software (e.g. Altium)
  • Desirable
    • Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
    • Experience in manufacturing or PCB environments
    • Knowledge of embedded systems, microprocessors, FPGAs
    • 5+ years’ relevant experience
