Role Overview

We’re proud of our reputation for delivering best-in-class imaging, high reliability, and user-friendly solutions. Now, we’re looking for a Test Engineer to join our team in Redhill and play a key role in ensuring the quality and security of our RTT products.

Responsibilities

As a Test Engineer, you’ll be responsible for testing software and systems—including X-ray scanners and Matrix IT networks—under the guidance of the System Test Manager. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and effectiveness of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system verification and validation testing
• Develop test procedures and test cases
• Conduct functional, performance, regression, and cyber security patch testing
• Identify, report, and track software defects
• Install and validate cyber security patches on test servers and workstations
• Verify software builds and configurations
• Provide timely test results and feedback to design and development teams
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes
• Assist in planning test programs for RTT products

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with system, hardware, and software testing
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Understanding of the full system engineering lifecycle
• Knowledge of cyber security processes and patch testing
• Experience with tools like Helix ALM, Jira, or similar
• A methodical and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Degree or HND in Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Bonus:

• Experience with security systems and baggage screening technologies
