We’re looking for a seasoned Sales & Business Development Manager to grow our Optical Sensors and Systems portfolio. This is your chance to shape strategic partnerships, drive innovation, and make a real impact in high-tech industries

  • Lead sales and business development for optical sensors and systems in Aerospace, Defense, and Commercial sectors.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans to expand market share.
  • Manage a robust pipeline from first contact to contract award.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide market insights to guide product strategy.
  • Represent OSI Optoelectronics at key industry events.
  • Forecast monthly sales and exceed ambitious targets.
  • Reporting to the VP of Aerospace & defense – USA.

Candidate Requirements

  • 10+ years in technical sales, account management, or business development in Aerospace, Defense, or Photonics.
  • Deep understanding of optical components—especially sensors—and their applications.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • BSc in Engineering or Physics (MSc preferred).

Travel

This role will require the successful candidate to travel nationally and internationally.
