Role Overview: Based at the heart of the UK electronics supply chain, this role plays a key part in supporting Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in bringing their products from concept to production. You will help translate customer requirements such as CAD files and Bills of Materials into a viable manufacturing solution. Working closely with the Business Development and Commercial teams, you will provide essential administrative and commercial support, ensuring quotations and orders are accurate, timely, and fully aligned with our manufacturing capabilities. This role offers hands-on training across all aspects of commercial customer account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-the-job support and training in Commercial Customer Account Management
- Process and acknowledge customer orders within 24 hours of receipt
- Manage quotation input, distribution, collation, and analysis in line with agreed timelines
- Prepare and support Order Book (OOB) reviews for Account Managers
- Handle quote processing from initiation through to completion
- Manage end-to-end order processing
- Import monthly customer forecasts into the ERP system
- Raise and process customer concessions
- Complete and submit new supplier forms
- Take ownership of processing and expediting RMAs
- Respond to general customer and internal enquiries
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure requirements are met within agreed timescales
- Confidently escalate issues when necessary, demonstrating a proactive and can-do approach

Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, purchasing, or account administration
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Confident using telephone systems and IT tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively
