- Use various types of hand tools in the assembly of Ground support equipment and vehicles.
- Use and interpret mechanical drawings and bills of material to identify “best practice” of completing set tasks.
- Perform simple to complex assemblies of components and/or sub-assemblies to produce parts and/or final product.
- Work individually or as part of a team to achieve daily production goals in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Provide good problem-solving input to other team members and work to achieve production goals under the supervision of the team
- Use standard operating procedures, build procedures, and documentation such as work orders, verbal, and written instructions, and assembly drawings to produce high quality products in a fixed allocated time frame.
- Be able to Self-inspect assembled work prior to final inspection, using drawings, standard operating procedures, and checklists/build procedures.
