Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to join the Day Surgery Unit at Heatherwood Hospital, Ascot. The unit operates six days a week and consists of 22 individual day‑case patient pods. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide compassionate, high‑quality care, supporting registered nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Duties include:
- Admitting patients for surgery
- Accompanying patients to theatres
- Assisting with direct patient care
- Monitoring vital signs
- Supporting patients’ nutritional and fluid needs
- Collecting specimens
- Maintaining patient dignity through person‑centred care
