Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to join the Day Surgery Unit at Heatherwood Hospital, Ascot. The unit operates six days a week and consists of 22 individual day‑case patient pods. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide compassionate, high‑quality care, supporting registered nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Duties include:

  • Admitting patients for surgery
  • Accompanying patients to theatres
  • Assisting with direct patient care
  • Monitoring vital signs
  • Supporting patients’ nutritional and fluid needs
