Network Rail is offering an exciting Health & Safety Apprentice opportunity within the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) programme. This role is based in York and supports one of the UK’s largest rail infrastructure projects. As a Health & Safety Apprentice, you will work within the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team to help deliver safe working practices and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Supporting risk assessments
  • Recording and reporting incidents
  • Assisting with investigations
  • Delivering safety briefings and toolbox talks
  • Maintaining documentation for audits and inspections
  • Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple sites
