The Health Safety and Compliance Adviser will support the planning, development and delivery of health, safety and compliance activities across the University of Portsmouth. The role involves promoting a positive health and safety culture, advising faculties and support services on risk management, employee and student safety, and ensuring compliance with statutory health and safety obligations.
The post holder will provide competent advice under Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations, support strategic and operational frameworks, engage with key stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement in safety practices and building compliance across the organisation.
