We are currently seeking 3 motivated cable pullersto join our clienton a street lighting project based on M25 Junction 10. The successful candidate will assist in the installation and pulling of electrical cables for new and existing street lighting systems, working alongside electricians and other site personnel to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Pull electrical cables through underground ducts, poles, and street lighting columns

Assist electricians with cable routing, positioning, and termination preparation

Handle and transport reels of electrical cable and associated materials

Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring tools and materials are secure

Operate basic tools and cable-pulling equipment under supervision

Observe and follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Report any hazards, incidents, or site issues to the supervisor immediately

Assist with setting up temporary traffic management (if required)
Requirements:
-
Experience as a cable puller, labourer, or similar role on civil/electrical projects

Physically capable of heavy manual work, including lifting and working in trenches or confined spaces

Awareness of underground utility safety and cable handling best practices

Reliable, punctual, and able to work in all weather conditions

Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

ECS card (required)

Full PPE must be worn at all times
Duration: 18 months (the work is sporadic)
Hours: nights, 19:30pm β 05:00 am
Rate: negotiable
