Working Towards Wellbeing (part of Osel Enterprises Ltd) are looking to recruit Employment Advisors working full time supporting individuals with complex needs to gaining Employment.
About the Role
You will need to be self-motivated, forward thinking and a proactive individual with an understanding to support the individual’s specific needs when facing barriers to getting or retaining employment. The role is delivering 1-1 support sessions, primarily face to face, also telephone and video calls so you will not be based in one location. The role will involve partnership working with Jobcentre Plus, local employers, NHS and social care services, and wider community stakeholders, to create pathways into work and deliver ongoing support to ensure job retention and sustainable outcomes. Receiving and working with referrals received from several different services, including GP, Self-Referrals, Mental Health services, Adult Social Care, Social Prescribers and other charitable organisations. It may be necessary on occasion for the post holder to work outside of standard office hours.
The following skills are essential:
- Previous experience of supporting individuals in reaching their personal goals.
- Be passionate about encouraging progression and delivering exceptional outcomes.
- Intermediate Office 365 skills including e-mail, Word and Excel.
- Must be numerate and literate.
- Being highly organised and able to prioritise your own diary.
- Have clear, concise record keeping and accurate reporting skills.
- Willingness to undertake all relevant training.
- A full clean driving licence and use of a car during the day, with business class insurance.
- An enhanced DBS check will be carried out prior to appointment.
- To reflect Osel & WTW in a positive and professional manner.
